PLAYS Parent Seminar will be held Feb 19th from 12 - 1 p.m. and Feb 26th from 3 - 4 p.m. at PLHS Auditorium. All Travel parents are required to attend, In house is encouraged.

All Coaches (Travel and In-house) must fill out the online adult consent form before they are permitted to coach a team.
Travel Coaches: MYSA will not issue a coaches pass until they have received confirmation back on the consent form.
In-house Coaches: All In-house coaches must fill out the background check as well.
Consent forms are valid from Sept 1st -Aug 31st of the following year.

Per Minnesota Law, all adults that are involved with coaching youth in the state of Minnesota are required to pass concussion testing every 3 years. Below is the link to complete the testing by the CDC. This will take about 45 minutes at the completion, please add your name to the certificate and save to your computer. We then ask you to submit your certificate to our system to show so that you may be approved to coach/manage.
1) The coach/team manger to pick a few alternate dates
2) Email fieldcoor@priorlakesoccer.org with the Game Number and the alternate dates. The game number is important because there are normally > 150 games per season.
3) The Field Coordinator will email the coach/team manager the date, time and field of the reschedule game.
4) The Field Coordinator will contact the Referee Coordinator with the reschedule information.
5) The coach/team manager will coordinate with the other team. Both teams need to fill out the Game Reschedule Report http://mnyouthsoccer.org/forms/gamereschedule.pdf
Weather Related Cancellation
1) If the fields are wet or rain maybe coming in, It is the responsibility of the home coach/team manager to call the Field Hot Line at 952-447-9825 to see if the fields are open.
2) If the fields are closed, the coach/team manager must contact the other team to cancel the schedule game.
3) The referee coordinator does not have to be contacted
4) Follow the “Reschedule” process above to reschedule a game
Other Cancellations
1) If a game has to be canceled the day it was scheduled, the coach/team manager must contact the Referee Coordinator who will contact the referees about the cancellation.
