Registration Information

 

Criteria/Registration
 
This year will be the first year the club lists expectations for the C1, C2 and C3 teams on the website for tryouts. This will list the off season requirements for each team. You will have the option to accept or decline consideration for the top team. If you don’t want to commit to the off season requirements of the C1 or select teams you can check the box declining a spot at the highest level and you will be placed on the other team if there is one available. The select team requirements will be based on the coach hired but will be at least as high as the expectations put out by the club. Select team expectations by team may also be posted on the website. If they are not, they will be made available to you. Please contact the club with questions and they will direct you to the proper contact.

Registration Deadline for U11 and up players

Registration is open from now through July 30th to be registered before Tryouts in August. Registration will be closed until after team announcements in Mid August. After that point, registration will re-open and will be on availability basis. Please contact the appropriate age group coordinator if you have questions. There emails can be found under club info on this website. There are no guarantees registrations will be accepted after the deadline. Any late registrations that are accepted will be placed on the lowest team at the appropriate age group.
 

 

Select Team Registration Procedures

Players electing to be considered only for a select team can chose to pay a non refundable $50 tryout fee (check only) payable to PLSC. This $50 will allow you to be considered for the select team only. This must be turned in at the time of tryout check-in. You will also be asked to fill in waiver – please bring this to tryouts signed by a parent. If you choose this option for tryouts and are not offered a spot on the select team, you will not be placed on a team in PLSC. Players that chose the “select only” option that are offered and accept their posted team placement must register online no later than 24 hours after teams are posted and will be required to pay the full registration fee at that time. Once registered for a select team, there will be no refunds given for any reason. Failure to register and pay by the deadline will result in the player being removed from the roster.

To be considered for all teams at your age group, including the select team, please register for the summer 2012 travel program. You will be placed on a team within PLSC based on the results of all tryouts for your age group. You will pay only the registration fee for PLSC Summer 2012.



 

Play Ups (Kids playing age group up)
Players wishing to be considered for teams at an age group older than their designated MYSA age group must tryout at both age groups in order to be placed on a team in either age group. Player s must try out for their own age group to determine their proficiency within their own birth year age group category.  There is an additional $25 fee for the second tryout. This will be payable by check to PLSC at time of check in. The only exception to this rule is for August birthday players who wish to play with own school age peers. This will not be considered a play up and should be noted on their form at time of registration.
If the team the player is choosing to try out for at the higher level is a select team, they may choose the select only option if they wish to be considered for that team only. If they choose the select only option, they will not be bound to PLSC if they are not offered a spot on that team.
Financial Assistance
